Hysteroscopy is a minimally invasive gynecological endoscope used for direct visualization and treatment of diseases within the uterine cavity.

Its core principle is as follows: a thin optical lens is inserted into the uterine cavity through the woman's natural passages (vagina, cervix), while a distending medium (such as saline) is injected to open the uterine cavity. This allows the doctor to clearly, magnify, and comprehensively observe the uterine wall, fallopian tube openings, and other structures on a monitor, and to perform direct surgical procedures on any abnormalities found (such as polyps, fibroids, adhesions, septa, etc.).
