Transforaminal Endoscope Introduction

A transforaminal endoscope is a spinal endoscopic system used for minimally invasive spine surgery, mainly for treating conditions such as lumbar disc herniation, spinal stenosis, and nerve root compression.

It enters the spinal canal through the natural intervertebral foramen (transforaminal approach), allowing direct visualization of the herniated disc, nerve roots, and surrounding tissues. Under clear endoscopic view, procedures such as decompression and removal of herniated disc material can be performed.

• Minimally invasive, small incision (usually about 7–8 mm)

• Can be performed under local or light anesthesia
